Everyone needs an editor.

William Shakespeare, were he alive today, would need an editor. Virginia Woolf, were she alive today, would need an editor. Writers are simply too close to their work. They can not judge it objectively. They need another perspective. They need the fresh, trained eyes of an editor.

Writing is hard. A clear, concise sentence is no accident; it demands effort. Words can be honed tools, but finding the precise word requires time and thought. Know, however, that you are getting judged by the words you use and how you use them. An editor can polish your writing so it resonates with the reader.
